Moving to another app is not automatically suspicious, but pressure around it is. If someone keeps pushing after a soft no or keeps circling back to it before the conversation has earned that step, the pressure itself is the information.
You do not need to prove that your discomfort is justified before you act on it.
Why some people push for another app
Sometimes it is harmless impatience. Sometimes it is an attempt to get more access, less moderation, or more personal information. You do not need to know which one it is to slow things down.
The only question that matters first is whether you want that move.
