Choose the right support route
Sending an issue through the right channel gives support the context needed to act without asking you to start again.
| Issue | Best route | What to include |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot access an account | Open the Help Desk, or email support if you cannot sign in. | Nickname or username, claimed email if any, device type and the last time access worked. |
| Restriction or ban appeal | Use the Help Desk appeal path. | Account username, approximate action date and a short explanation of why the decision should be reviewed. |
| Abusive user or content | Use the separate Block and Report actions in the app. | Report the chat, post, comment or profile itself so moderation receives the relevant context. |
| Bug or reliability problem | Open the Help Desk. | Steps to reproduce, expected result, actual result, device and app version, plus a screenshot when useful. |
| Privacy or data request | Email support, or use the account deletion page. | Nickname or username, claimed email if any, the request being made and enough information to verify ownership. |
| Immediate danger or child safety | Report in the app, email [email protected], and contact the appropriate local emergency service or authority. | Do not wait for a support reply when someone may be in immediate danger. See the Child Safety Standards page for the full process. |
Platform support can investigate BuzzChat activity, but it cannot provide emergency assistance or replace local authorities.

Support identifies the account, feature and issue involved.

Ownership may be checked
Account and privacy requests may require enough information to confirm that the account is yours.
- 03
The issue is investigated
Support reviews the available technical, account or moderation context and routes specialist issues where needed.
- 04
You receive the outcome
Support explains the available resolution or any next step that can be shared safely.
