Account deletion
Delete Your BuzzChat Account
Sign in to confirm ownership, then delete your BuzzChat account permanently. This page explains the in-app steps, what data is removed, and how to contact support if you cannot access the account.
- Sign in required
- Permanent
- Support available
You must sign in first so BuzzChat can confirm the account is yours.
Why you need to sign in first
BuzzChat only deletes an account after you authenticate. That check protects account ownership, so one person cannot delete another person's account by guessing a nickname or email.
Use the button below to open Account settings in the BuzzChat app. Sign in with the Google account or email used for that BuzzChat account, then complete deletion there.
Step by step
How to delete your account in the app
These are the steps in the BuzzChat Android and web apps. You must be signed in to the account you want to delete.
- 01
Open BuzzChat and sign in
Open the Android app or web app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- 02
Go to your Profile
Open your own Profile from the app navigation.
- 03
Open Account settings
On your Profile, open Account. That screen manages sign-in and account deletion.
- 04
Tap Delete account
In the Delete account section, tap Delete account.
- 05
Confirm deletion
Confirm in the dialog. Deletion starts immediately after you confirm.
Keep this in mind
Deletion is permanent
Once you confirm, the deletion cannot be undone from the app. Your access is removed right away, and the public account is not restored later.

What is deleted, and what may be kept
This matches the Privacy Policy. It does not invent retention periods beyond what that policy already states.
-
01
Removed when you delete
Your access ends immediately. Your public profile is hidden, your posts and videos are no longer shown to other users, and the Firebase authentication account is removed so the same email or Google identity can be used again.
-
02
Limited data that may be retained
BuzzChat may retain limited information only when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, legal compliance, or resolving disputes. That can include relevant messages or media, reports, moderation decisions, account identifiers, and audit events.
-
03
How retained data is treated
Retained information is restricted from normal product use and is not used to restore the deleted public account. Provider backups and logs may remain until they roll off under operational and provider schedules.
