Plain-language summary
Agreement, eligibility and account responsibility
BuzzChat is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. You may use the service only if you can legally agree to these terms and are not prohibited from using it under applicable law.
You may begin with a generated identity and optionally claim an account. Information you choose to provide must be accurate enough for the feature being used, and you must not impersonate another person or organisation.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting credentials, email access and recovery information. Tell support promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
Before creating, uploading or sharing user-generated content, you must accept these terms and follow the content and conduct rules below.
What it gives you
What is not allowed, stated plainly
Do not create, upload, send, request, promote or help distribute any of the following.
-
01
Anything sexual involving minors
In any form. Suspected uploads are blocked and quarantined, and confirmed violations can receive the most severe account action.
-
02
Harassment and abuse
Threats, hate speech and targeted abuse of another person.
-
03
Explicit content and pressure
Sexually explicit content, and sexual pressure continued after someone has declined.
-
04
Spam, scams and impersonation
Including attempts to move someone off-platform for fraudulent purposes.
-
05
Evading moderation
Circumventing a ban, or working around the automated content checks.
-
06
Illegal or dangerous activity
Content or conduct that facilitates violence, exploitation, self-harm, illegal trade, privacy invasion or infringement of another person's rights.
Your account and content
You keep ownership of content you create. BuzzChat needs limited permission to operate the features you choose.
| Area | Your responsibility | What BuzzChat may do |
|---|---|---|
| Messages and uploads | Share only content you have the right to use and that follows these terms. | Host, transmit, format, display and process it as needed to deliver the selected feature. |
| Public content | Choose carefully what you publish to profiles, posts, comments, Hives and World Mode. | Make it available to other users according to the feature and your visibility settings. |
| Moderation | Use the service lawfully and cooperate with legitimate safety reviews. | Automatically screen, review, restrict or remove content when needed for safety, enforcement or legal compliance. |
| Account security | Protect access to claimed accounts and do not sell, transfer or share credentials. | Require verification, limit activity or secure an account when compromise or abuse is suspected. |
| Feedback | Do not include confidential information in product suggestions. | Use voluntary feedback without an obligation to compensate you. |
The operational permission described here is limited to running, protecting, improving and legally administering BuzzChat. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
Step by step
Enforcement
What happens after a report, and what you can do about it.
- 01
A report is reviewed
Reports become cases that a moderator works through, rather than an automatic action.
- 02
An outcome is applied
Content removal, feature restrictions, suspension or a permanent ban, depending on severity.
- 03
It attaches to the account
Not to the nickname. Changing what you are called does not reset moderation history.
- 04
You can appeal
Appeals go through support, and are read.
Plain-language summary
Privacy, deletion and safety access
The Privacy Policy explains what data BuzzChat collects, why it is used, who processes it, retention practices and how to request deletion. It forms a separate part of your relationship with BuzzChat.
Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Automated safety systems and authorised moderators may process content when it is reported, flagged or reasonably needed to investigate abuse and protect the service.
You can delete an account in Profile, then Account, or request deletion through the account deletion page and Privacy Policy. Limited records may be retained only for the reasons disclosed there.
Plain-language summary
Service availability and third parties
BuzzChat may add, change, limit or discontinue features as the product, safety needs or law evolve. The service can be interrupted for maintenance, security incidents or events outside reasonable control.
Some features rely on third-party infrastructure, authentication, moderation, analytics, media delivery or links. Those providers may apply their own terms and policies to services they control.
Virtual points, levels, streaks, gifts and reputation features are product features, not money or property. They cannot be sold, transferred outside supported features or redeemed for cash unless BuzzChat expressly says otherwise.
Plain-language summary
Disclaimers and responsibility
BuzzChat connects people who may be unknown to each other. BuzzChat does not verify every statement a user makes and cannot guarantee another user's identity, intentions, accuracy or conduct. Use caution and do not share information you cannot safely disclose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that law does not allow to be excluded.
You are responsible for losses caused by your unlawful content, misuse of the service or violation of another person's rights. BuzzChat remains responsible where applicable law says responsibility cannot be limited.
Plain-language summary
Ending use and changes to these terms
You may stop using BuzzChat at any time and may delete an account through the available deletion paths. Terms that logically need to survive, including ownership, safety records and responsibility for earlier conduct, continue only as applicable.
BuzzChat may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or the service, or comply with law. Where appropriate, an appeal is available through support.
Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
